We offer a variety of services to our patrons many of which are free of cost. We are always available to help answer any question you may have from finding a book to making a copy.

Printouts can be picked up at the computer desk area, please name your documents for faster retrieval.

Our trained Digital Navigators are available for one-on-one appointments where they can assist patrons with more specific questions. They assist with topics like:

Setting up a new device (like a smartphone)
Accessing websites and online accounts
Basic email and social media
Obtaining a low-cost device or connecting to the internet
Using, saving, and editing files
And more!

Computer Lab & Reservations

The Dr. Hector P. Garcia Memorial Library provides free computer and Wi-Fi access to its patrons. We currently have 14 adult computers and 10 children’s computers.

Patrons ages 2 to 12 are required to use the computers available in the Children’s Department. Patrons ages 13 and up are required to use the computers available in the adult section of the Library. For a patron age 2 to 6, a parent is required to remain with the child at the computers in order to assist them and monitor their Internet use.

Notary Services

Our library offers Notary Services at $10 per signature. Be sure to have your IDs and important documents ready and we will be there to assist you.

Appointments are not necessary, however we do encourage you to call ahead to ask for our Notary's availability.

Makerspace

Test Proctoring

Tests may be proctored by our staff for a fee of $10 per student, for students of distance education courses, homeschooling special exams, license renewals, and others. Proctoring exceeding more than 2 hours will pay an hourly fee of $5.00.

What is the schedule for test proctoring?

Monday – Thursday 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Friday 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Room Reservations

Need a quiet space for focused study, a collaborative area for group projects, or a dedicated meeting room for your organization? Our library offers various rooms available for reservation. Whether you require a small study pod or a larger meeting space, you can easily book via Email or by contacting our staff. This service provides a productive and private environment to meet your needs, ensuring you have the ideal setting for your academic pursuits, professional discussions, or community gatherings.
